In our robotic center started to operate with this new technique in December 2021 – being the second center in the world to perform full robotic uniportal approach for thoracic malignancies. Visionary and master surgeon, Dr. Diego Gonzalez Rivas is the pioneer of uniportal VATS (from 2010), a minimal invasive approach which became the standard of surgical care around the world for surgical treatment of lung cancer.
